The mission of Del Ray Learning Solutions is to nurture the whole child, fostering a love of learning and tailoring our services to to each child's individual needs.

Sharon Widmayer, Ph.D., founder of Del Ray Learning, has more than twenty-five years' experience as an educator.  She has a Master of Arts in Teaching English as a Second Language from Georgetown University, a Graduate Certificate in Teaching Reading, and a Ph.D. in Education from George Mason University.  Dr. Widmayer has worked with every age from preschool to post graduate and is licensed in Reading, English as a Second Language, English, Algebra, and Social Studies.

Dr. Widmayer's passions include tailoring the teaching to fit the child and using technology to cultivate meaningful learning experiences.
